Hi! I’m Olivia Barakat, I’ve been a licensed esthetician for over 9 years and have worked in the beauty industry for nearly 12 years. My passion for the beauty industry started when I was very young, it started with a love for makeup and grew as I got older. However, one of my biggest insecurities growing up was having dark, contrasting body hair. So in middle school I began to wax myself, my confidence skyrocketed! I knew I wanted to help people feel this confident one day, so a few years later I went to esthetician school. Body hair insecurities are less talked about but are prevalent, waxing helped me and I know it can help you too!
I started offering facials later in my solo career. After hearing people say “I don’t recognize myself in the mirror anymore” when they talk about aging I knew I had the knowledge to help people not feel this way. So I began to offer facials, coming up with treatment plans, and helping clients learn to prevent and reduce the signs of pre-mature aging and other skin concerns. And I am dedicated to continuing to learn about the latest innovations in the industry so I can share them with you.
Feel free to contact me by phone, text, or email with any questions and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I hope to see you soon!

It‘s recommended to come in with fresh, clean, hydrated skin before your wax. Drinking enough water leading up to your wax will help hydrate your skin and allow your wax to be less painful. Also exfoliating 48 hours before your wax is recommended.
It’s not recommended to use oil on the skin the day of your wax. Don’t take blood thinners the day of.
Avoid exfoliating too close to your appointment date, I recommend no closer than 3 days prior to your service. Avoid using retinoids 5-7 days prior. Arriving to your appointment with no makeup is not required but it is recommended.
Typically, 2 weeks of growth is recommended or 1/4 of an inch.
